Saleen went to great lengths to produce the Tesla Model S based Saleen GTX. As the first all-electric performance vehicle by Saleen, there was no part left untouched. Utilizing our nearly 30 years of racing and performance engineering experience, this Carbon Ceramic (C/Sic) Big Brake Kit for the Tesla Model S will increase performance on a myriad of levels.
As a direct bolt-on replacement for the 2012-23 Model S, this CCX BBK is the same multi-piston design found on our production vehicles. In addition to the enhanced design and stopping capability, this Saleen brake package will reduce the unsprung weight of your ride. The dramatic reduction in weight offers improved handling and drive-ability, stopping performance, NVH. On the Tesla Model S, there is also an additional performance benefit that is generally not discussed on traditional vehicles, improved battery range. By reducing the rotating mass on your electric performance vehicle, this Saleen brake kit increases the opportunity for better range performance and better 0-60 times vs a stock brake configuration.
High Quality Construction: This Saleen Carbon Ceramic Brake Package is manufactured to exacting specifications. Each brake caliper is precision machined from 6061 forged aluminum and assembled to exacting tolerances to ensure durable performance and perfect fit & finish. The specially formulated Carbon Ceramic rotors are a 2-piece 'hat & friction ring' design that has been proven both on and off the track. Choose from either Black or Red caliper colors.
